Welcome to Liberty Line Chauffeurs. By booking with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions which form a legally binding contract between Liberty Line Chauffeurs Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and you (the “client” or “passenger”).
1. The Contract
Liberty Line Chauffeurs enters into a contract with the passenger as principal under Regulation 9(14) of the Private Hire Vehicles (London) (Operators’ Licences) Regulations 2000.
By accepting a booking, we take full responsibility for the transportation services from the time of booking until the completion of the journey.
Our drivers act on our behalf, not as independent contractors.
2. Bookings
Bookings can be made via phone, email and website.
A booking is confirmed once you receive written or electronic confirmation from us.
All bookings are subject to vehicle availability.
Bookings may be subcontracted to another licensed operator, but your contract remains with Liberty Line Chauffeurs.
3. Fares and Payments
Fares will be quoted in advance or calculated using our tariff.
VAT is not included in our fare quotes.
Payment is due at the time of booking unless an account has been arranged.
The driver may collect payment on our behalf, but we remain responsible for the fare.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Only Liberty Line Chauffeurs may cancel a booking.
If you wish to cancel, you must inform us in writing or via call.
Cancellation fees may apply depending on notice given:

– More than 24 hours: Full refund

– 8 – 24 hours: 50% refund
·
– Less than 8 hours: No refund
5. Responsibilities of Liberty Line Chauffeurs
Provide a fully licensed and insured vehicle and driver.
Ensure the journey is completed safely and efficiently.
Handle customer queries, complaints, and journey-related incidents.
Maintain up-to-date records of all bookings in accordance with TfL regulations.

6. Passenger Conduct
Passengers must behave respectfully and not cause damage to the vehicle.
Smoking, eating, or illegal substances are not permitted in our vehicles.
Liberty Line Chauffeurs reserves the right to refuse travel to any person acting inappropriately or under the influence.
7. Liability
We accept no liability for delays caused by events outside our control (traffic, weather, accidents).
Our total liability shall not exceed the fare paid for the journey.
Lost property found in vehicles will be logged and safely stored for collection.
8. Complaints Procedure
Complaints must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the journey.
We aim to respond within 24 hours.
Complaints relating to driver conduct or safety are investigated thoroughly in line with TfL requirements.
9. Data Protection
Your personal data is stored securely and only used for service delivery and compliance purposes.
We comply with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website.
